Kickstarter favourite Chameleon Launcher now available

Ottawa, Canada based company, Teknision, has started releasing the phone and tablet version their beta Android launcher app, Chameleon, to the 6,420 people who backed them on crowdfunding site Kickstarter. For the uninitiated, Chameleon was originally made in to make the most of space available on Android tablets. Instead a few apps and lots of blank space on your Android home screen, the app allows you to have things social networking (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram), news, music and Nextflix widgets displayed beautifully on your homescreens.
In addition, because people use their devices for different things depending on the time of the day, Chameleon can be customized to display different widgets depending on the time of day. For example in the morning you could set up your device to display news, the weather, work relevant social feeds and email. In the evening once you’re done work, you could have your tablet display social feeds, Netfilx, music, and photos.
If you’re as excited about this project as I am and wish to be one of the first people to get this on your Android tablet or phone, you can pre-order the app here (the Kickstarter campaign has successfully closed at 222% of Teknision’s stated goal). See more photos of Chameleon below.
