Samsung: consumers couldn’t tell the difference between the Galaxy Tab and the iPad

As we stated earlier, one of the positives of Samsung and Apple’s current court dispute is the documents that have leaked showing everything from excutive emails to early iPhone prototypes. A survey Samsung conducted back in 2008 to gauge the effective of their Samsung Galaxy Tab (tablet) has now leaked. As you can tell from the image above, it shows that only 11% of consumers were aware of and could link the Samsung Galaxy Tab to Samsung. Half of the people who saw Samsung’s TV ad for the Galaxty Tab thought it was for the iPad.

Samsung also conducted another survey that tracked user sentiment for the iPhone vs Samsung galaxy phones through 2008 to 2011.
